Snowfields Academy Events Showcase

Ski Trip
10th March 2024

The Ski Team are back safely. Well done to each and every student.
Coaches, airports, planes, skiing, heights, walking, packing, speaking Italian, trying new foods, independence, making new friends, resilience… the list goes on…
They did it! All the time, living well with their autism.

Angley Cup Football Tournament
30th January 2023

Cranbrook College hosted The Angley Cup football tournament on Friday. It was a pleasure to host all the schools and seeing Snowfields represented by both colleges.
We are extremely proud of all the students that took part in this inclusive and rewarding event.
Thank you to all the staff that helped to organise and support the event. Well done to Inspire who were overall winners. We look forward to the next tournament!

Farm Club
29th January 2023

Students have enjoyed Farm Club this week.
We have new piglets which the students have been taking care of and have supported with making the new bedding for them all.

The Bimbo Group
21st January 2023

We were delighted to welcome representatives from The Bimbo Group; a local food factory who support our school.
They came in to present two students who won their Christmas card competition with their prizes.
Congratulations to both students!

Farm Club
18th January 2023

Farm Club started today for the students. They were learning how to groom the animals safely. They will then learn how to walk them safely from the pens.
Farm Club is every Wednesday. If there is more interest then we will do this on more lunchtimes.
We also wanted to congratulate our wonderful Farm Manager who at the recent auction won best of the day for the lovely pen of Pietrein Cross Baconers pigs.

Bulb Planting
17th January 2023

Bulb planting is underway at Snowfields !
A wonderful selection of bulbs has been donated by Notcutts.
At Bearsted we hope to have a beautiful display of black tulips and alliums at the front of school , irises round the pond area and daffodils on the fence line.
At Cranbrook these will be planted round the main entrance of the building and around the wild meadow beside the farm.
On Top of this, horticulture lessons this week have been concentrating on learning about bulbs and planting them in pots.

Outdoor Gym Opening
9th January 2023

The new outdoor gym was officially opened by the students today at the Cranbrook campus.
We look forward to the students and staff using this facility and look forward to sharing more photos.
It will be another excellent resource for regulation and healthy living.
Thank you to The Outdoor Gym company for all their support.
