Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) Education

PSHE equips young people with the knowledge, skills, and attributes to navigate life both now and in the future. It covers physical and mental health, relationships and sex education, personal and online safety, first aid, economic well-being, and career guidance. This subject is vital for safeguarding and supporting pupils’ overall well-being.

It covers three broad themes:

  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Relationships
  • Living in the Wider World

Supporting PSHE at Home

Families play a key role in reinforcing PSHE beyond the classroom. Using trusted online resources, parents and carers can help young people build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. Exploring these topics together creates a supportive environment for open discussions and informed decision-making.
